When someone has been deemed too dangerous to be part of society, they are sent to prison. When the news cycle forgets about them, Prison Officers can’t, having to deal with these people face to face on a daily basis. We tell the stories of what really happens behind the walls of a prison.
EPISODE II
THE MAITLAND GAOL EPISODE
Maitland Gaol holds the record of the longest serving Prison in Australia, having been in continual use for 150 years.
In this Episode, we expose the never before told stories of life in one of Australia’s hardest prisons.
THE LONG BAY GAOL EPISODE
EPISODE III
Opened in 1909, the notorious Long Bay Prison Complex has 6 prisons on site housing over 1200 inmates. It is more like a city, housing the State’s most infamous inmates in it’s long and storied history
EPISODE IV
THE KATINGAL EPISODE
In the 1970’s, Australia opened it’s first ‘Supermax’ Prison. Designed to deprive inmates of any sense of the outside world, it was described by it’s detractors as an ‘electronic zoo’. Conditions were atrocious. Prisoners hated it, and Prison Officers loved it.

THE ESCAPES EPISODE
For as long as there’s been prisons, inmates have tried to escape. We tell the stories of the unbelievable escapes that have happened from NSW prisons over the years. Eyewitness accounts from Officers that were there.
EPISODE VI
​THE AIDS UNIT EPISODE
In the 1980’s, the AIDS epidemic took hold of the world.
Being HIV positive in prison was a dangerous game. Inmates and Officers were living in fear.
This Episode tells the never before heard, heartbreaking story of working in the AIDS Unit.
EPISODE VII
​THE A.C.M.U EPISODE
At Long Bay, there is a prison within a prison - The Acute Crisis Management Unit. It is here that inmates with self harm issues are housed. This episode explores the horrific tales of what happens in the A.C.M.U.

EPISODE VIII
​THE WHEN THINGS GO BAD EPISODE
Prison Officers always have to be aware of their surroundings. You can have all the training in the world, but in Prison, you never know what's going to happen. Sometimes things just go bad!
EPISODE IX
​THE HOSPITAL ESCORTS EPISODE
Inmates often require medical treatment outside of the walls of the gaol. It is a dangerous job, mixing inmates, Officers, and members of the public - and it doesn't always go to plan.

​THE ESCAPES EPISODE (PART 2)
Inmates will always try to escape prison. In this episode we tell more stories of inmates that were successful, and not so successful, in their attempts to break out.
​THE TRANSPORT EPISODE
EPISODE XI
On any given day there are enough inmates being transported around NSW by road to fill a whole gaol. This episode tells the stories of what it’s like, driving the bus that no-one wants to be on.

Prisons can be scary places. They are old, dark, and have a history of violence and death. I put a shoutout to ex-Officers to see if they had any paranormal experiences working in prison, and I was inundated with stories!
